Design

Beyond pretty visuals, design is the holistic strategy of how things fit together. In addition to Photoshop, I'll help you understand users, perfect messaging, and produce lasting brand experiences.

Code

Whether it's Haml/Sass for your Ruby on Rails views or a rich Javascript frontend, my ability to jump between designer and developer roles allows me to deliver tangible results to your hands, faster.

Growth

Ultimately, all products need users to succeed. From virality tactics, to landing page optimization, to increasing user retention, I'll help you lay the foundations for your project's future growth.

ProcessWhat to expect

  1. Gathering Context

Every project starts with the "why" — reviewing your notes, discussing assumptions, and defining the meaning of success.

  2. UX Building Blocks

Next, we translate high-level ideas into sequences of concepts to be grasped and actions to be taken. These form the building blocks of your project's user experience.

  3. Rapid Prototyping

Experimenting with layout and content, we'll turn initial sketches into comprehensive wireframes. Ideas can be tested efficiently at this stage, making it an ideal time to gather user feedback.

  4. HD Prototyping

After the structure is sound, we introduce depth through colors, typography, and imagery. Some projects may need only simple visual guidelines, while others call for full-resolution mockups.

  5. Sprint/Validation Cycle

Work is prioritized into sprints, each one separated by a short interval for planning/validation. This allows us to work efficiently while still focusing on the big picture.

  6. Future Investments

No project is complete without metrics to measure its impact. We'll implement analytics, tackle logistics, and make plans for maximizing your project's future outcome.

FAQBefore we begin
